My husband Sascha has got to be the most wonderful, loving and supportive husband there is. I'm really lucky! Sascha and I met in LA, where we both worked as translators, in 1996. We started going out in April 1997 and got married 2 months later, on June 21st, which is also hist birtday. You can see one of the photos of our wedding here. A little over 1 year later, we were transferred to Copenhagen, Denmark, where we stayed for about 6 months; when I got pragnant with Sarah, we moved to Switzerland, where we live now (Sascha is Swiss).
		My daughter Sarah is the joy of my life. Motherhood has got to be the most intense experience ever. You get this feeling of empowerment and unimaginable happiness, from looking at this beautiful little person you gave life to... but you also feel small in front of this new, overwhelming feeling of love and devotion, adoration, for this little angel of yours. Nothing in the whole world can make you feel the same way. And since when I became a mom myself, I discovered a new kind of love and devotion for my own mother, whom now I can understand better than I ever did. Sarah is really a little jewel. She was born in August 1999, so she will soon be 3. She's really girlish, she loves clothes, shoes and hair accessories. Sarah speaks German with her dad and Italian with me, and she understands English. Who knows, maybe she has a future as a translator, to follow the family footsteps, :) Here you can see a phot of Sarah, also taken last Christmas.
