This is the latest book I read from the Mission Earth decalogy, and I cannot wait to get the next one! In this volume, we are introduced to a new narrator, and we are going into a past that looked like it was going to remain secret... no longer. Jettero Heller sure goes through some things to save his Emperor! I know I'll probably sound like another hundreds females who read the book, but this Jettero guy is pretty close to be the ideal man :)

Funny, entertaining book. This book will make you laugh but it will also make you think. Probably every woman will love this book. It really tells the truth about how we are, what kind of thoughts go through our heads, what we like, what we hate, what we fall for, and how we react when we understand we fell for thr wrong guy. It's hilarious because it's all so true! If you are a woman, read this, you'll love it. If you are a man, read it anyway, it might help you figure out women a little bit :)

Practical Magic

Wonderful, mesmerizing book. Two little girls go to live with their old aunts in a very strange house... and learn many things. Magic things. The two sisters love each other a lot though they are very different: one is more serious, the other one is a rebel. They stay separated for quite some time, and get together again thanks to magic... and magic will once again be part of their life, that life that they can only save with the use of magic itself. Absolutlely fascinating.

Mission Earth #1: The Invaders Plan

And here's the book that started it all. This whole decalogy is a masterpiece, or at least it is up until number 9 (included), which is what I just finished reading. Science fiction, action, some comedy and why not, some love, too, all in this wonderful story. I found it addicting to say the least, I had trouble putting down the book. Let's just say that I was not getting much done in the house every time I was on one of these volumes! I have been borrowing them from my dad for now, for space reasons, but wait until I get all the shelves up in my office! This whole decalogy is going to be one of the first additions to my book collection!
The main character, Jettero Heller, is one of a kind. He's good looking, athletic, smart and definitely not lacking courage. He's an Imperial Officer, citizen of the planet Voltar. He gets hired by the bad guys of his planet to go on a mission to planet Earth. I think you'll find fashinating how the author describes Earth with the eyes of someone who comes from another planet, and you'll be surprised how many "odd" things we have and do!
